Component Location

Outside rear view mirror

Replacement

WARNING

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Remove the front door trim.
(Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim")
Press the lock pin, separate the outside rear view mirror connector (A).

Loosen the mounting bolts and clip, remove the outside rear view mirror (A).

Tightening torque : 6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - l.lkgf.m , 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)

To install, reverse removal procedure.

WARNING

Make sure the connector is connected properly.

Inside rear view mirror

Cowl Top Cover

Component Location Cowl Top Cover Replacement Remove the cap and the nuts, and then remove the wiper arm (A). Tightening torque : 22.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.3 - 2.7 kgf.m, 16.6 - 19.5 lb-ft) Disconnect the washer nozzle (A).

WARNING Before measuring the pressure of the refriferant line, check whether the refrigerant amount is charged in accordance with the specified charging amount. (Refer to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning - "Specifications")

Handling Wires and Harnesses

Secure wires and wire harnesses to the frame with their respective wire ties at the designated locations. Remove clips carefully; don't damage their locks (A). Slip pliers (A) under the clip base and through the hole at an ang
