Component Location

  1. Front seat shield outer cover

Replacement

WARNING

  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

WARNING

Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

  1. Remove the front seat assembly.

    (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")

  2. Remove the front seat outer shield cover.

(1) Separate the clip (C) and hook (D).

(2) Press the lock pin (B), remove the front seat outer shield cover (A) by pulling it forward as shown by the arrow.

  1. Disconnect the front seat power swich connector (A).

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure.

WARNING

  • Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
  • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).

    Remove the rear seat back assembly RH. (Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly") Loosen the mounting screws, remove the rear seat shield inner cover (A). Press the lock pin and remove the rear seat headrest (A).

     Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW)

    RCCW activating conditions (1) User Setting Menu (USM): Select 'Driver Assist Parking Safety' - 'Rear Cross-Traffic Safety' (2) Shift lever position: R (3) Vehicle speed: 0 ~ 8 km/h (4) Speed of opponent vehicle: 5 km h or faster
