Hyundai Tucson: Clutch Regulator

Hyundai Tucson - Fourth generation (NX4) - (2020-2023) - Workshop Manual / Clutch System / Clutch Regulator

Components and Components Location

  1. Clutch pedal arm
  2. Clutch pedal assembly
  3. Reservoir hose
  4. Regulator
  5. Cluch tube
  6. Clutch hose

Removal

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct.

(Refer to In case by Gasoline 1.6 T-GDI System - "Air Cleaner")

(Refer to In case by Gasolione 2.0 MPI System - "Air Cleaner")

  1. Remove the battery and batteiy tray.

(Refer to In case by Gasoline 2.0 MPI System - "Battery")

  1. Pull the snap pins (A) and then removing the regulator (B).
  • Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle it may damage the paint if brake fluid does contact the paint, wash it off immediately with water.

Installation

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedures.
  • Be careful not to enter dust, foreign matters, etc in regulator.
  • When installing, apply grease on a O-ring part of regulator connector.
  • Replace the O-ring with new when install the clutch regulator.
  1. After be equipped, perform bleeding air procedure in concentric slave cylinder after pouring the brake fluid.

Inspection

  1. Check the clutch tube for fluid leakage.
  2. Check the clutch tube for strain and damage.
