Hyundai Tucson: Air Cleaner Assembly

Hyundai Tucson - Fourth generation (NX4) - (2020-2023) - Workshop Manual / Engine Mechanical System / Intake And Exhaust System / Air Cleaner Assembly

Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Disconnect the air flow sensor (AFS) connector (A).

  1. Remove the air duct (A).

  1. Disconnect the RCV hose (A).

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly

Tightening torque : Intake hose clamp : 2.9 - 4.9 N.m (0.3 - 0.5 kgf.m, 2.2 - 3.6 lb-ft)

Air cleaner assembly :8.0 - 10.0 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 6.0 - 7.4 Ib-ft)

(1) Remove the breathe hose (A).

(2) Remove the intake hose (B).

(3) Remove the air cleaner assembly (C).

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
