Hyundai Tucson: Pressure Side Impact Sensor (P-SIS)
- Disconnect the batteiy negative terminal.
WARNING
After disconnecting the cables, wait at least 3 minutes.
- Remove the front door trim.
(Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim")
- Disconnect the connector (A) from the pressure side impact sensor.

- Remove the pressure side impact sensor (A) after rotating it 90º in a counterclockwise direction.

Gravity Side Impact Sensor (G-SIS) _ B pillar
- Disconnect the batteiy negative terminal.
WARNING
After disconnecting the cables, wait at least 3 minutes.
- Remove the center pillar lower trim.
(Refer to Body - "Center Pillar Trim")
- Remove the gravity side impact sensor (A) by removing the mounting bolt and then disconnecting the connector (B).
Tightening torque : 10.8 - 12.8 N m (1.1-1.3 kgf m, 8.0 - 9.4 lbf ft)

Gravity Side Impact Sensor (G-SIS) _ C pillar
- Disconnect the batteiy negative terminal.
WARNING
After disconnecting the cables, wait at least 3 minutes.
- Remove the luggage side trim.
(Refer to Body - "Luggage Side Trim")
- Remove the rear side impact sensor (A) by removing the mounting bolt and then disconnecting the connector (B).
Tightening torque : 10.8 - 12.8 N m (1.1-1.3 kgf m, 8.0 - 9.4 lbf ft)

Installation
WARNING
Do not turn the ignition switch ON and do not connect the batteiy cable while replacing the side impact sensor.
- Install in the reverse of the removal.
- After installing the SIS, confirm proper system operation:

Switch ON the ignition. The SRS indicator light should turn on for about three-six seconds and then off.
Description
- Driver can control the passenger airbag operating Condition (Enable or Disable) by using this PAB ON/OFF switch.
- Passenger Airbag (PAB) ON/OFF Switch is installed in the crash pad side cover.
