Immobilizer System - Adjustment
In the body electrical system, failure can be quickly diagnosed by using
the vehicle diagnostic system (diagnostic tool).
The diagnostic system (diagnostic tool) provides the following information.

Removal
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the heater control unit.
(Refer to Heating,Ventilation And Air Conditioning - "Heater Control Unit")
Loosen the mounting bolt,nut,screw and remove the Integrated Body

Remove the transfer assembly.
(Refer to 4 Wheel Drive (4WD) System - "Front Wheel Transfer Assembly")
Remove the dust cover (A).
Remove the oil seal #2 (A).
Remove the oil seal #3 (A).
Install the oil
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)
Applying the parking brake
To apply EPB (Electronic Parking Brake):
Depress and hold the brake pedal.
Pull up the EPB switch.
Make sure the Parking Brake warning
light comes on.
