Hyundai Tucson: High Pressure Fuel Line

Hyundai Tucson - Fourth generation (NX4) - (2020-2023) - Workshop Manual / Engine Control - Fuel System / Fuel Delivery System - Fuel Tank / High Pressure Fuel Line

  1. Release residual pressure in fuel line.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line")

  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  3.  Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

  4. Remove the engine cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Cover")

  5. Remove the Purge Control Solenoid Valve (PCSV).

    (Refer to Engine Control System - "Purge Control Solenoid Valve (PCSV)")

  6. Separate the breather hose (A).

  1. Remove the high pressure fuel pump foam (A).

  1. Loosen the high pressure fuel pipe flange nut (A).

Tightening Torque : 29.4 - 35.3 N.m (3.0 - 3.6 kgf.m, 21.7 - 26.0 lb-ft)

  1. Loosen the function block mounting bolt (A).

Tightening Torque : 9.8 -11.8 N.m (1.0-1.2 kgf.rn, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
