Removal
Manaul Transaxle Type
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct.

(Refer to In case by Gasolione 2.0 MPI System - "Air Cleaner")
- Remove the battery and battery tray.

(Refer to In case by Gasoline 2.0 MPI System - "Battery")
- Pull the snap pin (A) and then separate the clutch regulator (B).
- Separate the reservoir hose (C).
- Disconnect the ignition lock & clutch switch connector (A).
- Loosen the nuts (A) and then removing the clutch pedal.
Tightening torque : 16.7 - 25.5 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 Ib-ft)
Intelligent Manaul Transaxle Type
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Disconnect the ignition lock & clutch switch (A) and clutch pedal stroke sensor connector (B).
- Loosen the nuts and then removing the clutch pedal (A).
Tightening torque : 16.7 - 25.5 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 Ib-ft)
Installation
- To install, reverse the removal procedures.
- Perform bleeding air procedure in concentric slave cylinder after pouring the brake fluid.
